Relationships. We think we know another person. They may be a friend, a work colleague, a family member – all people we spend a good bit of time with. So, we know them well, don’t we? The truth is we often don’t. At best we may know them a little. In fact we may not even know our children very well, if we have any. We can pick up hints about them, what makes them tick, etc. But we do not know how their minds work. If we think we do, it is merely a projection of our own mind processes.

Life can no longer be lived with the simple expectation – and a bit of hope – that everything will turn out for the best. There are enough books on psychology for sale now to demonstrate very clearly that trust and hope are not enough. Not nearly enough today, and it never was enough! Today people want to be happy; before they settled for second best. We should never settle for second best. And today we have the tools and teaching to realize or discover what the pitfalls in front of us are and what our strengths and weaknesses. Without awareness and education we cannot hope to live the good life. Most people in the US have visited a counselor or a life coach at some point in their lives, and have profited from it. Attempting to solve Life Problems on our own rarely works. A witness, a professional listener and adviser, is required.
We all seek peace and harmony. And success! And it is available to us all. Seek it!
There is a way through the woods!
